BI Analyst

Tasks

•   Maintain and enhance a digital analytics platform in PowerBI
•   Create new visualizations (or refine existing visualizations) in PowerBI to extract data insights
•   Collect new data from different sources to add to an existing SQL database

Required skills & experience

•   Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline
•   5 or more years of analytics work experience with at least one year of Power BI applied in the workplace
•   Proficient in developing digital solutions using SQL databases, Python, OLAP and tabular models
•   Experienced with stack of Microsoft Azure Services
•   Adept at data cleaning, data modeling and data visualization
•   Strong written and oral communications skills
•   Self-starter with a passion for analytics

Preferred additional skills & experience

•   Active Microsoft Azure certifications
•   Experience with Azure services, e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure ML
•   Familiarity with agile software delivery and DevOps methodologies
•   Arabic speaker
